Corelyn Coates moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and found culinary love in the endless supplies of avocados, citrus, and basically any produce you could ever need. In 2009, she and Jennie decided to start a blog to follow their antics in the kitchen.

Corelyn grew up in Tennessee and Virginia, and her southern upbringing keeps barbecue, butter, and liquid smoke, among other ingredients, on the front burner in the GMS kitchens. Her style is add now, think later, and almost always her intuition about a dish is right - in flavor if not in caloric value.

Her food always includes a green, however, and for that healthy eaters will appreciate her style. She will find a way to get you to like any vegetable in her wheelhouse; Brussel sprouts, green beans, squash, or beets.

Corelyn moved back to the east coast in April of 2011, but continues to keep the recipes coming as she heads up our Eastern seaboard operations.
