Ingredients
- 1 medium orange
- 1 medium lemon
- 2/3 cup sugar
Directions
- Wash orange and lemon, then dice and deseed, leaving the skin on.
- Over medium heat, add fruit and sugar, until sugar melts. Reduce heat and cook until orange and lemon peels are soft and compote thickens, about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool at least one hour. Refrigerate, and serve on toast.
