Summary
This is our go-to barbecue sauce for chicken, shrimp, veggies - just about anything!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin (or cumin seed)
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1-2 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- Grind any spices that need to be ground well.
- Combine wet ingredients.
- Add spices and dry ingredients to wet; mix well and adjust seasonings as you see fit.
Notes
If you want it sweeter, add more brown sugar. Feel free to play with the chili powder level if you like your barbecue spicy! If you want more tang, add more vinegar. Feel free to make this your own!
