Teff Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup teff
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • pinch salt
  • 1 handful walnuts
  • 1 handful raisins
  • 1-2 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Boil water. Add teff, reduce to simmer, and cook until all water is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, and add spices and pinch salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Serve hot topped with walnuts, raisins, and a drizzle of honey.
