Chocolate Cherry Bread

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe bananas, smashed
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 6 ounce dark chocolate
  • 1 cup cherries

Directions

  1. Pit your cherries and chop your chocolate.
  2. Smash bananas in a bowl. Add butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla, and mix well.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and flours. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.
  4. Add chocolate and cherries and mix until combined.
  5. Pour into buttered loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
