Ingredients
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter
3 cups cake flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup fresh, squeezed orange juice
zest of one orange
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a rimmed baking sheet.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside in a medium sized bowl.
3. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add vanilla and orange zest and beat together.
5. Add in half the flour mixture, followed by the milk and beat together.
6. Add the second half of the flour mixture followed by the orange juice and beat together.
7. Add eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
8. Transfer batter to baking sheet and use a spatula to spread out and smooth flat. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
