No theme, other than things I really think you should know\/read.<\/p>\n<p>Like, did you know that the word &#8220;vegetable&#8221; is a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/articles\/v\/vegetable.htm\"> culinary term that has no rooting in science<\/a>? One you stop to think about it, it&#8217;s kind of obvious, but when I read this article I was dumbfounded at first!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2012\/nov\/24\/food\/la-fo-cast-iron-20121124\">article about cast iron<\/a> and why it&#8217;s so good for cooking. I suggest everyone have a cast iron skillet &#8211; it will change your life, I promise.<\/p>\n<p>You guys. I love oatmeal. And I want you to read this article about <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2012\/nov\/24\/food\/la-fo-calcook-20121124\">delicious ways to make your breakfast a bit more interesting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also happen to love<a href=\"http:\/\/thepioneerwoman.com\/cooking\/2012\/11\/blueberry-lemon-sweet-rolls\/\"> lemon and blueberry<\/a>, together, in unity. I need to try these from the PW as soon as I can find a crowd to EAT them!<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who are still shopping for holiday gifts, look at this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seriouseats.com\/2012\/12\/gift-guide-kitchen-gear-50-dollars-or-less-slideshow.html#\">list from Serious Eats<\/a>. It&#8217;s sure in inspire you or at least give you an idea of what to ask for!<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of gifts,\u00a0this weekend is our annual <a href=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/yankee-swap-2009\/\">Yankee Swap party<\/a>, and I had fun remembering the event from a<a href=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/pw-final-day\/\"> few years<\/a> back!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>What have you been reading lately?
