He happens to <a href=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/picking-the-first-one\/\">love carrot cake<\/a>, but since I had already made one, I figured I had to get fancy. Alas, I had never tackled a bundt before, and after this one, I might only make bundts!<\/p>\n<p>I used a <a href=\"http:\/\/tastykitchen.com\/recipes\/desserts\/sigrids-carrot-cake\/\">Pioneer Women recipe<\/a> because I trust her more than most.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/my-first-bundt\/dsc_0448-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8617\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8617\" title=\"DSC_0448\" src=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0448.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0448.jpg 800w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0448-652x432.jpg 652w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0448-451x300.jpg 451w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/DSC_0448-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I used a simple frosting of cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla, instead of the traditional cream cheese frosting. If making a bundt by yourself, remember to butter and flour your pan so the cake really does slide out in one piece!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favorite kind of cake to serve?
