Jennie hosted a <a href=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/shark-week-party\/\">Shark Week<\/a> party last Sunday and after looking over her menu, I suggested bringing something sweet. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.melskitchencafe.com\/2012\/08\/brownie-batter-dip.html\">This<\/a> is what she sent me to make. My life will never be the same! Brownie batter dip is a quick and delicious recipe you can whip up (literally!) for any party.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prep time:<\/strong> 10 minutes<br \/>\n<strong>Cook time:<\/strong> None!<br \/>\n<strong>Yields:<\/strong> Enough dip for one person. Just kidding! About 2 cups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n8 oz light <strong>cream cheese<\/strong>, room temperature<br \/>\n\u00bc cup (otherwise known as \u00bd a stick) <strong>unsalted butter<\/strong>, room temperature<br \/>\n5 tablespoons <strong>all purpose flour<\/strong><br \/>\n5 tablespoons <strong>cocoa powder<br \/>\n<\/strong>2 cups\u00a0<strong>powdered sugar<br \/>\n<\/strong>2 tablespoons <strong>brown sugar<br \/>\n<\/strong>1 teaspoon <strong>vanilla<br \/>\n<\/strong>2 tablespoons <strong>milk<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>chocolate chips<\/strong> for topping<br \/>\n<strong>Pretzels, graham crackers,<\/strong> and\/or <strong>fruit<\/strong> for dipping<\/p>\n<p>In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter. You can add extra milk or powdered sugar to achieve the consistency you desire.
