Look at those gorgeous potatoes! In honor of our nation\u2019s birth aka the Fourth of July, my LA friends and I celebrated with a BBQ. I was tasked with potato salad. My first stop was the Hollywood Farmer\u2019s Market<\/a>! There I picked up white and purple potatoes (purple is my favorite color!) The shopping list also included fresh dill and green onions. Potato salad here we come!<\/p>\n

Prep time:<\/strong> 25 minutes
\nYields:<\/strong> a whole lot!<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong>
\n10-12 potatoes<\/strong> of various size and color
\n1 cup green onions<\/strong>
\n\u00bd cup fresh dill<\/strong>
\n3 tablespoons butter<\/strong>
\n\u00be cup sour cream<\/strong>
\nSalt<\/strong> and pepper<\/strong><\/p>\n

Boil a large pot of water with a generous amount of salt. Add potatoes. Boil until the potatoes slip off a fork or knife when inserted.\u00a0Allow potatoes to cool.<\/p>\n

MASH! Mash away. I left my potatoes a bit chunky, but still bite size. Add butter.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Chop green onions and add to mashed potatoes.\u00a0Add dill. YUM.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Add sour cream (I used about \u00be of cup), salt, and pepper to taste.\u00a0Chill a few hours, or overnight. Serve to hungry guests. Voila!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
