And that means holiday parties. Ones that you host, one&#8217;s that you attend, maybe even a couple that you gate crash! We don&#8217;t judge! Either way, you&#8217;re going to end up making and eating your fair share of party food in all shapes and sizes this season, so you might as well mix it up a little.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12835\" src=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3717.jpg\" alt=\"Prosciutto Pear Bites | Garlic, My Soul\" width=\"1200\" height=\"801\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For parties, we are especially fond of dishes that require limited assembly and no actual cooking. We found these <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realsimple.com\/food-recipes\/browse-all-recipes\/pears-blue-cheese-prosciutto-10000001694964\/\">Pears with Blue Cheese and Prosciutto<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realsimple.com\/food-recipes\/browse-all-recipes\/pears-blue-cheese-prosciutto-10000001694964\/\">Real Simple<\/a> and it was a done deal. We had no real choice but to make and devour them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12834\" src=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3712.jpg\" alt=\"Prosciutto Pear Bites | Garlic, My Soul\" width=\"1200\" height=\"801\" srcset=\"https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3712.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3712-800x534.jpg 800w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3712-500x333.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let me tell you why you should make these right now. First off, they were every bit as delicious as they look like they would be. The folks at Real Simple know how to write a recipe, even if it only has 5 ingredients. Which brings me to my next point. It has 5 ingredients, folks. Five. There is a slight art to wrapping the pears in the right amount of prosciutto and spooning out the blue cheese crumbles, but basically you could just mash these 5 ingredients together and end up with something that is the same amount of delicious.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12833\" src=\"http:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3703.jpg\" alt=\"Prosciutto Pear Bites | Garlic, My Soul\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3703.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3703-667x1000.jpg 667w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3703-800x1200.jpg 800w, https:\/\/garlicmysoul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3703-500x749.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One word to the wise. Cut your pears into fairly small slices &#8211; maybe 1\/2 inch at the thickest part of your slice &#8211; otherwise these pear bites will be much too large for any human to bite! Take these to your next fancy party and amaze everyone with your artful prosciutto wrapping and blue cheese crumbling skills.
