Tomato Tart

Tomato Tart | Garlic, My SoulOven temperature: 375 degrees
Bake time: 30 minutes
Prep time: 45 minutes

Dough:

1 cup flour
1/2 tbsp baking powder
3/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter
3/8 cup milk

Topping:

1 large ripe heirloom tomato
3 oz fontina cheese
Handful of basil
olive oil
s/p

1. Mix ingredients for dough together into a ball. Refrigerate for thirty minutes.
2. Meanwhile, heat the oven, and slice the cheese, rough chop the basil, and slice your heirloom tomato thin.
3. Lay out your dough and make an edge around the edge to catch your ingredients. Place on parchment paper, and then layer cheese, basil, tomato, and drizzle with olive oil. Salt and pepper it, then bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
4. Cut into squares and serve to awaiting hungry friends!
